Re: Have I bought the wrong IR emitter?

it looks to me as tho that is a contained system. in that usb there are probably no data wires. it uses the usb only for power or if there are data wires it would be for flashing the firmware on it.

I am going to suggest THIS ONE to you. I own this one personally and I have not seen a single ...

jachin99 wrote: Wed Jan 03, 2018 3:19 pm That looks like an IR blaster so yes that just sends remote codes to external devices. You can still use event ghost to tell it which codes to send and when to send them though. What are you trying to accomplish?
That's good news. All I want to do is turn on my TV, that's it.

Have I bought the wrong IR emitter?

So I need to control my TV. I bought this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Infrared-Remote-Control-Receiver-Emitter-USB-Adapter-IR-Extender-Repeater-HOT/232515045441 , but it's arrived, and I'm not sure it'll do what I want it to. I want to be able to send IR commands from my PC, ideally from Eventghost ...

Send commands TO a Logitech Harmony One

I want to be able to turn on my TV with Eventghost. The only IR blaster I have is my Harmony One, but is there a way to send commands to that, so that it then sends an IR signal to the TV?

I can turn the TV off because it uses Jointspace, but when it's off it no longer listens to web commands and I ...

Re: LimitlessLED / Mi-Light Plugin - Upd. SEP 14th

Hey! Just want to say I really appreciate what you've done here.

Is there any chance of you adding a 'toggle lights' option? So that I can turn my lights off and on using the same button?

Thanks for all your work!

Re: Mi-Light Plug-in

This is fantastic!

One question though, do you have any interest in adding a 'Toggle' option any time soon?

It would be awesome if I could turn the lights on and off using the same button.

One more question actually, would you consider implementing an "increase brightness" and "decrease ...

Eventghost + Ubuntu Screen Off

Hi there,

I used to have things set up so that when I pressed 'A' on my remote, the display switched from my two monitors at my desk over to the big screen in front of my bed. As it did this, it also sent a little command to my second laptop on my desk, to turn off the screen, using nircmd and ...
