Re: How to send Command Epson tw-3600

Can you explain what you have tried to do? Have you connected to the Projector using a basic serial terminal program?

I just googled and found this one called Termite that looks easy enough to get your head around

Re: RCAware PC-CEC Plugin (Rainshadow Tech HDMI-CEC Birdge)

Although I am focused on other things I have this device plugged in and monitoring my system. I intend to write a review at some point but instead of a review of the Bridge and the Plugin (they are both pretty cool) I'll share some of my thoughts about HDMI-CEC and it's potential in general. There ...

Re: Plugin: Serial Port - How are com ports found?

OK I have spent a little bit of time today reading stuff about serial enumeration; way out of my depth but I have found a solution online that helped me fix my problem.

This thread was most helpful because it deals directly with my issue of bluetooth serial connections not being enumerated as com ...

Plugin: Serial Port - How are com ports found?

I am trying to replace a serial cable using a Bluetooth SPP connection. I have what I want almost working but at the moment EG doesn't list my new Bluetooth connections as serial ports in the plugin.

I am posting this up just before I go to bed, so I don't forget what I've found.

I'll try this to ...

Re: CM11A X10 (serial) plugin

I have used a wireless remote to program a wall switch module. It looks like I will need to find a better way to program the wall switch module than using the remote.

I'll look into programming the wall switch module via the CM11.

Thanks for the reply.

Re: Silicon Dust HDHomerun IR Plugin?

I wonder if the IRServer that comes with IRtrans units would work. Probably not if Winlirc can't do it.

It wouldn't hurt to ask them at http://www.irtrans.de/forum/

I found no information on the forum that could answer your question but the devs are quick to answer questions.

The best way to have remote wall mounted buttons? CM11,CM15

Looking for the best way to have remote wall mounted buttons that can send events to EG. I want to use buttons in the same wallplate as my lighting switches. I have an IR remote but I want something for when the remote is MIA and when I walk in the front door and want to trigger a welcome home EG ...

Re: CM11A X10 (serial) plugin

This plugin is almost working for me.
It talks to my CM12 (CM11A but Australian 240V model) but I get
CM11A Unknown event: 66
for A1 ON.

All commands are unknown events.

I will play around with python code but I am a n00b who hasn't done much numeric stuff during my learning of python basics.

Re: IR-Trans support

Eventghost works great with irtrans devices. It interfaces using lirc messaging via the IRserver software that comes with the Irtans units.

Receiving and sending is no problem.

I am looking into the features that allow held down buttons to send different messages to single button presses. Pretty ...

Re: XBMCRepeat XBMC plugin based on the official plugin

Now has anybody tried to control a remote XBMC over the network with this new version of the plugin?
Yup and lovin it. Only just recieved my IRtrans unit on Friday and got it all set up today.
