The best way to have remote wall mounted buttons? CM11,CM15

Post by vicx »

Looking for the best way to have remote wall mounted buttons that can send events to EG. I want to use buttons in the same wallplate as my lighting switches. I have an IR remote but I want something for when the remote is MIA and when I walk in the front door and want to trigger a welcome home EG macro.

At the momment I have a A10/X10 4 scene micro module from here. http://x10-hk.com/store/product_info.ph ... cts_id=107 and a CM11 compatible transceiver.

The CM11A plug here -> http://www.eventghost.org/forum/viewtop ... 35&start=0 isn't working for me yet but I was wondering if the CM15 Pro might be a better way to go.

Is anyone using the CM15 Pro and plug for receiving events in EG. That is mostly what I would use it for.
