I figured out the problem. The issue was that the MCE Remote Plugin switches between 2 preset registry entries. The entry for when "Disable HID Service" was unchecked did not match the one I was using with TweakMC. So EventGhost would dectect that the registry entry did not match and it would ...

I am currently using EventGhost 0.3.7.r1194 and Windows 7 7600 RTM with the Xbox 360 Remote Control, and the included MCE Remote Plugin.
