Update: I solved the problem by following these directions (just replace the path to PeerBlock with a path to your EventGhost.exe file):

I'm having the same problem on W7 64-bit. I have EventGhost in the startup folder and also checked in EventGhost options to start automatically. It is set to "Run as administrator". Yet, it does not start automatically.
