Hey there.
I want to rebind the middle mouse for my tv software. This actually works when i use find window and emulate keystroke. But now i cannot use the general functions of the middle button anymore (eg. delete tab in browser). Any idea why and how to change this?

Microsoft function keys
Hi there
I have two keyboards that should use the same function keys in Windows. (Found that out via MS Keyboard Diagnostics.) First is a Windows Keyboard and the other one is an Anker. But actually the official Microsoft Keyboard Center is pretty.. annoying (better: My plans didn't work there ...

Turn off monitor completely
Hey there
Does anybody know a way to turn off the display completely by using the remote control?
The standby-mode s*cks, because it's too fast awake, for example when I change volume (graphics..) or small mouse "vibrations". Also makes sense if you want to save energy and hardware..

Re: DVBSky Remote in EG
Okay, I'm already a bit confused, because it seems that there is no plugin/config for my remote.

DVBSky Remote in EG
Hi there
I got an ir-remote when i bought a TV-Card but it turned out that the remote sucked, at least for tv-use. Now I wanna take my mce for this job and instead, use the dvbsky for other stuff (primarily music).
So, my question would be, if I can use it with EG at all? Because I haven't found a ...

Re: DVBViewer
Sorry, that it took a month for the answer :)
Pressing the yellow button is still manually to me, not?
The problem is, that I don't always start it by remote, so this is a leak in the concept. ;)
Best would be, if there wasn't an autostart-function. I don't understand the sense of it anyway.

Re: VLC media player
Thats the last thing i tried yesterday.
At the moment it works fine again with ',' and '.' but I really don't know why..
{Ctrl+,} still doesn't work. Is that command invalid?

Re: VLC media player
okay, i found the solution, why the plugin doesn't work more or less completely. i had to change the line to: --extraintf=oldrc
(whyever "old"!?)
but there is, of course ;), still a problem:
I'd like to use the fast forward buttons (>>/<<) as jump xx seconds forward and backward. but at the moment ...

Re: Disable default win-functions of mce remote
The problem is, that the functions are there even without eventghost.. so it's kind of a "global issue".
edit: okay, i found the solution:
there were a lot of so called HID conform devices installed in my device manager, and they supported that default windows features. stays the question, why ...

Disable default win-functions of mce remote
Hi there
Suddenly, my configs in eventghost for the toshiba x10 remote control disappeared while doing stuff. Don't know how or why, never mind (mabye). The result is however, that my remote now sends commands to windows again, like it did some years ago.
Example: I used to emulate mouse movements ...

Re: DVBViewer
Hm, so I always have to switch between these two modes? That's not acceptable to me. :) Where is the problem to deactivate that "autostart"?
If this is the only solution, I'll try to get that dvbviewer x10 plugin working. Yes, it also doesn't work at the moment. ^^

Re: VLC media player
Up to now I use the emulated keys ',' and '.', because the combinations still don't work. I read about the seek-function. How does that work exactly? But more important is the first question..

Re: VLC media player
Hey there
Can anybody tell me how it's possible to jump x seconds back- and forwards? This command seems not be be avaible for the eventghost plugin and the keyboard emulation for the vlc hotkeys doesn't work, too.
Anybody has a special trick, that'll make it work? :)
