"Disable HID device" - Wake pc from sleep still possible?

I'm using a RC6 MCE remote to control my HTPC.

I just read I need to select option "Disable HID device" to avoid double key presses.

Will I still be able to wake my pc from sleep with the IR remote if I enable this option?

I'm running ...

Re: Event 'Stop what's currently playing in XBMC', then Susp

Thank you very much for your help!

I have a Logitech Harmony remote and I was thinking of assigning this event to an unused key (e.g. 'G').
If I make a mistake I can always assign a different key to the remote button.

I noticed EG is already intercepting IR key presses and I haven't configured ...

Event 'Stop what's currently playing in XBMC', then Suspend

I'm trying to create an event which first sends the IR remote 'Stop' command twice, then the Suspend/Sleep command.
(First 'Stop' is to stop the XBMC screensaver. Second 'Stop' is to stop what's currently playing in XBMC)

I'm running Win7 64bit SP1 with XBMC Eden. EventGhost version is 0.4.1.r.1582 ...
