Just had delivered the HP receiver and remote from the link you posted... Hope your on commission! :)

So plugged it in and noticed Event Ghost wasn't receiving any events from my remote. Will uninstall and reinstall it tonight to do some more testing.

Is there a definitive guide on what ...

Im going to try the HID plugin but for what ever reason, EventGhost cant see inputs from my MCE remote. So i think il buy one for myself for Christmas this week!
