I'm having the same issue as AceJoker. For no reason the plugin seems to just stop announcing events. If I go into the plugin and untick json and broadcast then apply, then Ok.....then go back in and reselect them and apply then it usually starts working again for a while. Seems a bit different as ...

Thanks Jonib !

It appears I had tried the JSON option when it wasn't connecting initially. It kept popping errors in the log so I disabled thinking I didn't even need it. But once the connection issue was fixed, the JSON option was the final thing needed. I found a random comment in this thread ...

Hi all. I have been a long time user but never posted. Ive got quite a few macros, but mostly to do with AutoRemote and file sharing and window control via phone shakes, but none to do with broadcast plugins.

Can someone help me understand the XBMC2 plugin ? How can I get it to generate an event ...
