Hi,
I have the same requirement, and the Broadcaster plugin works well for me. I am using Eventghost 0.4.1.r1640 and Yatse 3.9.1.
Broadcaster is listening on UDP port 7 (default for WoL). When Yatse sends the WoL packet to that port, Eventghost receives a Broadcast.YatseStart-Xbmc event.
