Need help with eventghost for a newbie...

First, sorry to be asking newbie questions, but I'm getting frustrated. I know its just a learning curve, but if someone could point me in the right direction it would be nice. I need basic help regarding setting up eventghost. I have read the Wiki, searched forums, and the net with no basic answers regarding eventghost and VMC as the front-end (tons on sagetv, xbmc, powerdvd).

Currently, I am running:
Eventghost: 0.3.7.r1170
Vista MCE: Version 6.0.6002.18030 (vistasp2_gdr.090429-2357)
Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit SP2
I am using an URC MX-3000 to blast the VMC USB IR dongle(works fine)

What I am trying to achieve:
Seemless interaction between VMC, Boxee, and Hulu Desktop.
Remapping remote keypresses to function the SAME no matter which program I'm in.
eg... I press 'home' and it always takes me to the main menu of each program.

Where I am in Setup...
I have installed EG.
I have setup the plugin for the MCE remote and EG is logging all remote and keyboard/mouse keypresses.
I have imported a Boxee plugin from http://forum.boxee.tv/showthread.php?t=3816
I have imported a Hulu desktop from http://www.missingremote.com/index.php? ... Itemid=227
I have setup macro which launches Boxee and minimizes VMC and give exclusive rights to Boxee.

Question:
How do I create a MCE folder with the commands exclusive to Media Center? I see the keypresses in the event log, I have the folder but can't figure out how to put in the key presses. (sorry again, I'm a newbie).

Thanks for helping a NEWBIE! I'm sure this will spark tons more questions, once I move to the next step, but I'm stuck.... even a generic tutorial on how to capture and create a device would be great... Thanks!!!!

Keypresses are an action. Select the folder you've created for MCE and click the "add action" button on the toolbar (or right-click and select "add action"). You want:
Window -> Emulate Keystrokes
as the action, which brings up a new window for you to set up which keypress to send.

There's also a thread on Hulu here in the forums that has better actions set up (it uses autorepeat, so holding down a button works as expected).
