Hi!
I'm trying to use my Xbox Original Remote Controller (DVD kit) with my PC wit Windows7 x64 RTM:
Eventghost RECEIVE the data, so the dirvers and remote controls WORKS! but it don't send the commands to the programs. i tried with MEdiamonkey, Mediaplayer 11, WinMediaCenter and other... i set some sample action as MOUSE RELATIVE MOVE but the mouse still in the same position.
But eventghost show me the exact log of my button pression [so it receive data correctly from the IR remote controller].
(i tried all the system on Vista x32 and all works perfectly. so there is no hardware problem)
PS. i tried to execute XBCDRC and eventghost in all the compatibility mode selectable and ever as Administrator.
any help?
PS: i've xposted this question on this forum: http://xbmc.org/forum/showthread.php?p=404095
someone suggested me to ask you this because (as i think too) it don't seem to be an hardware or driver problem because eventghost receive correctly the data but don't send command to the useful software!
many thanks!

[Windows7 X64] Eventghost can't send the events to programs
Re: [Windows7 X64] Eventghost can't send the events to programs
I've run EG on Win7 RC x64 without any problems. Are you sure you have the macros set up correctly to forward events to the programs you want to control? You have to manually add the event to the program's action macro before it will work.
Also, are you using the most recent version of EG, or an older one?

Yikes. I always like when things start working, but I don't like it when you can't tell why!
Glad its working for you.
