PS3 Remote Mouse Control

Hey all,

I did a search in regard to this question, but to no avail. I apologize if this has been dealt with before.

Anyways, I have successfully tied my PS3 remote to my bluetooth doggle and Event Ghost, as when I push the arrow on the remote, it does indeed mimic the keyboard arrow strokes. However, I want the arrows to mimic mouse movements, i.e. up arrow would move the mouse pointer up and so forth. I have attempted to reconfigure the arrows via the macro configuration-->mouse-->relative and absolute movement, but it doesn't work.

The question then is, how do I properly configure Event Ghost to mimic the actions of a mouse on my PS3 remote? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I am using the 'Start mouse movement in direction' action for moving the mouse. It needs your remote/receiver to support enduring events to work properly so that when you press and hold a button down the cursor movement will accelerate as you hold it down. If your remote/receiver does not support enduring events then you will see the cursor move just one pixel, if this is the case then the move absolute or move relative actions are probably more useful for you.

I don't know about the ps3 remote, I don't have one of those.

here's my macro set for mouse emu. you need to have the latest ps3 plugin.

Hold down the select button to use mouse mode (because i use the arrow keys for keyboard emu normally)
then move the arrow keys. You'll get 8 directions of movement.
enter does a left click and red circle does a right click.

I haven't figured out click and drag.
