Yes, you found a bug.
I found him not, because I have all the filters in this setting:

sorry to scare you Pako! When I first tried it I had a lot more problems,very erratic behaviour, but I reinstalled both mediamonkey and eventghost and it seemed to help.

So far it is FANTASTIC. Very fast. I had some major problems trying to configure macros from the old version, so I just deleted them and started over. I don't think it's worth worrying about, but you might need to make a note when including the new version of the plugin in the standard installation.

I will let you know if I find any bugs or text. I probably won't have time to look at the text for a few days though.

I just installed Windows 7 x64, and cannot connect to mediamonkey at all now. Everything else seems to be ok with eventGhost and other plugins.

Unfortunately I do not have available Seven/64.
I can try a Seven/32.
If this will occur there, I'll try to solve.

OK... It works on win7 32 BETA, and vista x64. So it's weird that it does not work on win7x64.

If there is anything I can do to help let me know.

just for fun, I ran eventGhost in compatibility mode (vista sp2) as administrator, but it made no difference. I also tried to disable UAC

this sucks.

OK It is working now. I'm not exactly sure what make it work, but after I disabled UAC, it was still not working. Then I tried an older version of the plugin and it was not working either. I tried connecting with the old version of the plugin AFTER starting mediamonkey and it worked.

then I installed the new version of the plugin, started mediamonkey and tried to connect and it worked.

now everything is normal and I can connect/disconnect and mediamonkey doesn't have to be started first... (in other words everything is back to normal)

I made a tiny improvement of actions Load Playlist by SQL query.
Prior to processing the contents of a text field is now called the function
eg.ParseString(). So you into this field, you can write even {eg.event.payload}.

Hi Pako I think I have a real bug to report. For a while I thought it was just in windows 7 but I recently went back to Vista (32bit) and I am having the same problem, so I can report this problem on multiple systems and multiple operating systems.

the problem is cause by the following:

1- connecting to mediamonkey with eventghost using your mm plugin
2- closing mediamonkey (it doesn't matter if I just close it directly (alt-f4) or use exit/disconnect command from the mm plugin).
3- open / reconnect mediamonkey with mm plugin

after this most things work fine. play, pause, next song, volume, get song info etc. all work.
but, load playlist by name, load playlist by filter and sql queries do not work for some reason.

currently solution: I must close and reopen EventGhost then reconnect to mediamonkey and everything is fine until I close mediamonkey again.

Pako, if you could please look into this when you have time (no rush I have been living with it for a while anyway).

If anyone has a chance to try to reproduce this error please let me know.

Yes, it is a bug. I think that I managed to fix it. But I'm not entirely sure.
You can try the latest version (0.2.9) from the SVN repository.
