You mean if i drag mce. up button and mce.down button from left panel to CH up and CH Down in SageTV?

I do that, is working to change channels, just that the channel number does not appear when i switch them.

Do you have another sagetv profile to test it?

In Sage I don't have any IR control device assigned because I use EventGhost to control all my apps, for a Guide see my post here
and see the second one labeled: File comment: This is the updated version.link: http://www.eventghost.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=344
and for a Sage client in EventGhost load the Sage plug-in and then
double click then line: Plugin: SageTV
and choose the option for SageTVClient.exe
of of course for regular Sage you would pick the option for SageTV.exe

Anyone knows if it was possible to map the 'Minus' key ??? (which OTA HD channels have) I tried finding the Sagecommand but with no luck :( Hopefully anyone with more skills has a way to get the exact command on the sagetv process??

Thanks :D

@Jabroni - This isn't an exact answer to your question but it may help. You can go into Sage and remap the "Logical Number" of channels to whatever you want. Therefore you can eliminate the "-" in channel numbers. For example you could remap all channels by adding 1000 and elimintaing the "-". For example 17-1 would become 1171 and 17-2 would become 1172. If I remember correctly that is kind of what MCE used to do (and maybe still does).

Here is a copy of my post on the SageTV forums:

"Here is what I'm trying to do:

I am going to start significantly upgrading my media room soon and I need some advice on getting SageTV to trigger events so I can program EventGhost to recognize the events to trigger equipment (i.e receiver, tv, lights, ect.). The reasoning behind this is simple. I would like my lights to dim when I start a movie. SageTV generates events in the log file that I hope to be able to grab for this purpose.

Here are the "events" and what sage puts in the log file.

Selecting My Music or pressing the music button on the remote causes this to be written into the log: Launching screen My Music. When this screen is selected I would like for my receiver to go into pure direct (no sound processing) mode instead of whatever sound mode I watch tv/movies in.

Selecting My Videos or pressing the videos button on the remote causes this to be written into the log: Launching screen Sage Movie Wall. I'd like the lights to dim and when the movie starts playing, I want them to dim and go off. When pause is hit they go to up to half power. I don't want this to happen when watching TV so I need it do be dependant on this screen.

Same with TV. "Launching screen TV Explorer" is written to the log.

I'd love to be able to be able to trigger other events based on these actions within SageTV. Right now, I can't think of a way to get sage to work that way. I know this is an unusual circumstance, but I like sage to be the center of my theater."

What you need is someone to write a plugin for Sage that can send commands to EventGhost based on a sage message.
