And it keeps its EventGhost integration.

Existing users can download Remote Helper (free windows application) from our website:
http://www.remotejr.com/pc/download.aspx

There is also a demo video:

(Similar on PC)

I guess the next step is to provide a way to create custom layouts with custom UI elements (buttons, sliders...) within Remote Jr. which you can use in EventGhost.
Anything else you guys would like to add ?
I am very interested in the customization of the UI and especially the display of status information from the device which is controlled.

Is the promotion code still available?

Is it Remote Helper or Remote Jr that keeps crashing?

Remote Jr 3.0 has been submitted to Apple. It is a huge upgrade.
Although it does not bring custom buttons, it does bring application specific layouts.
I wish I could tell you more before the official release :)

Looking forward to checking it out.

I definitely need custom (assignable) buttons... there are many EventGhost 'events' I need to trigger, that send HTTP POST commands to my home automation software. Right now, I have a web interface I use, but I'd really like to use a single interface/app if possible.
... having buttons assigned to specific EG events is ideal.

A less appealing alternative would be to launch the Safari 'inside' a Remote Jr screen so it looks and acts seamless - so I don't need to exit R Jr and open Safari, etc.

thoughts?
setup... XBMC, W7MC for DVR & Live OTA TV, JRMC for multi-zone audio, EG, MiCasaVerde Vera3, USB-UIRT IR receiver, Harmony remote, 5.2 home theater system

Livin: Checkout the post I made here - http://www.eventghost.org/forum/viewtop ... f=2&t=1995

iViewer allows completely custom GUI (designed using our CommandFusion guiDesigner software) which you can assign events to, and even send feedback via events to the iPhone/iPod Touch.

Embedding a browser in Remote Jr is far less complicated than making a layout designer.
Send me the udid of your device and I can start sending you special builds to try out.

Here is how you find out the udid of your device:
