Hi - I am new to Eventghost and I have a question about how to trigger an event that occurs when your PC (with a bluetooth adapter) "recognizes" another authorized bluetooth device.
My car has a built-in bluetooth hands-free system. When my car recognizes my cell phone it will pop up a message that says something like "Now Connected to Blackberry Bold".
Could I set up Eventghost to have the instance of my PC recognizing my cell phone be a "triggering event"? It would be a lot of fun to have your PC know that you are home - I also have a home automation system and I could use this to then trigger events in my home automation system, such as turning on lights, thermostat, etc.

Re: Eventghost - Bluetooth event
Yes, this is possible. You can use xPL and Bluetooth tracker in combination with EventGhost
Search this forum for xPL and google on internet for "doghouse xpl"
