Harmony 1100

Post by krackerjack22 »

I just set up a Logitech Harmony 1100 remote to work with my media center pc (Asus CS5111). I want to use eventghost to open applications using the remote's defined channel buttons. (ie: The button "9" opens hulu desktop.) I've written the macro to include the right action, but I can't seem to figure out how define the event. The log does not display any of the remote's actions, so my only thought is that the remote is not supported? I have the mce remote plugin, and was hoping that would be enough to learn the remote's inputs. Do I need to buy a usb-uirt to process an unsupported remote's commands? I feel like I've gotten so close, but connecting the action and the event is the last missing piece. Please help!
