Partial Event match

Is it possible to use asterix (*) or in some way trigger macros on partial matched events?
Let's say the event is called "XBMC-Event.<b>MediaChanged:<li>MovieTitle:The Pony Remark;192.168.0.3;1</b>"

I would like to have a macro triggered on the first part ("XBMC-Event.<b>MediaChanged:<li>MovieTitle:") as the last part will be variable.

You can use asteriks for whole parts (the stuff between points).
The plugin should change it's event names.
