Is Foreground?

Post by sixdoubleo »

Former Girder 3.29b (the last free version) user here....

In Girder I would basically write an event processor folder. It would process ALL IR events. It contained several Actions which performed an "Is Foreground?" check on each app. Then based on which application had the current foreground (SageTV, TheaterTek, Napster, etc) it would disable all non-foreground folders, and enable the one foreground folder for that app.

I see that Eventghost can enable/disable folders based on IR commands I initiate. But can it check which window currently has focus and then perform actions based on that?

Sometimes I don't use the remote to launch an app....so I need EventGhost to just check which app is in focus and perform actions based on that.

So basically what I'm looking for is this...

Is SageTVClient.EXE in the foreground? If so perform this action...
Is MediaCenter14.exe in the Foreground? If so perform this action...
Is TheaterTekDVD.exe in the foreground? If so perform this action...

Still learning so bear with me. :)

Use the task plugin to switch between folders.
