Howdy,
I have searched the forum and the web and haven't found any helpful info.
I'm trying to get EventGhost to work with an older Anir Remote (the regular one...NOT the "3D") connected to my XP machine with the Serial port (com1 or 2?).
I have tried WinLirc and I'm able to see some of the remote control presses but I honestly haven't a clue on how one would set up WinLirc, I also know that Girder has a plugin for this particular remote...but...I REALLY want to stick with EventGhost. It's the best I have used...EVER.
Is there a general or generic EventGhost plugin that works with the serial/com ports?
Could/should I try to just rig the old connector on the IR receiver to a USB connector?
