I have this special program for the disabled called SAW5. It basically emulates keystrokes via a graphical user interface.
Anyway, I'm attempting to use that software in conjunction with a usb-uirt and Eventghost to turn my laptop into a handicap accessible tv remote. I've figured out how to create a macro to transmit the ir signals when certain keystrokes are made. This seems to work fine when you physically hit the appropriate key on the keyboard... but the problem is eventghost doesn't acknowledge the emulated keysrokes from SAW5.
Is there anyway to get Eventghost to listen for keystrokes from SAW instead of the physical keyboard? Would a plug-in have to be created perhaps or some other way?
Any suggestions or help would be appreciated. Thanks

So there's no way to get Eventghost to acknowledge emulated keystrokes from another app? I tried Microsofts on screen keyboard (OSK) and its keystrokes were ignored as well.
