Just fyi, I finally updated to 3.7 r1030 and spent a about an hour and a half redoing all my remote codes and all seems to work fine.
I apologize for the title of this thread, it should have been "receives differently" instead of "doesn't receive correctly". And thanks to jinxdone, his reply let me know where to look for what's new in the upgrade versions. If I had known where this was I would have been able to read for myself why the difference. But it looks like this thread helped some other people so maybe it wasn't for naught.
Thanks for the help.

Re: EG 3.7 doesn't received ir codes correctly.
I have the same problem with EG 3.7. My screen is flooded with USB_UIRT.UNknown.#. It was working fine with the version 3.6, however, I formated my HD and now I can't find the version 3.6 anywhere. If anyone has the EG 3.6, please send me a link.
Thank you very much.
My system is Win XP prof.

Re: EG 3.7 doesn't received ir codes correctly.
I've got a trouble with my USBuirt module
I thought it was link to EventGhost but I noticed the same trouble in Girder 3.3
I'v got a MCE Remote control from my Acer Laptop that I would like to use on my desktop via Usbuirt
Everything is ok I receive USB_UIRT.Mce.Play or others code like this ...
or USB_UIRT.NEC.01234 if I use the remote from my vcr.
but everything go bad when I turn on my LCD TV (LG 42")
I receive after for only one touch one the remote, two event : USB_UIRT.Unknown.<longHexaSequence> and USB_UIRT.Unknown.10
the trouble is that the longHexasequence is complety different from 1 time to another (for the same touch on the remote of course)
If I put a sheet of paper between the TV and the usbuirt I've no more problem... but how I can use it like this ... ??

Re: EG 3.7 doesn't received ir codes correctly.
I Have the exact same problem. It seems that the usb uirt is not well shielded ... I read somewhere else that it might be worst if you use an external emitter because the wire catches more EMI ...Brainema wrote:I've got a trouble with my USBuirt module

I would recommend anyone that plan to put this device in the same room as an LCD to try something else and let us know if it works...
