My first use of EG, and I am pretty amazed at the power of this in running my HTPC using a MCE remote.
Is there a way to monitor the status of a DVD, and then make the key mapping different? What I am trying to achieve is some sort of logic for "smart keys", as follows:
- If playing a DVD, then the left/right arrow keys map to chapter changes
- If the DVD is at a menu, then the arrow keys map to menu navigation
I am using MPC-HC to play DVDs off a server (.ISO), the challenge is that MPC has separate keys for menu navigation.
I remember doing something like this using Girder and the DVDSpy plugin a while ago, but gave up on Girder as it is quite complex to use.
I have tried monitoring the window to see if there are any differences between Play and Menu, but they appear the same.
