Auto-close Program on Network Event

Hi there, I'm using EventGhost 0.3.7.r1436, and I had a quick question.

So far I have EventGhost set up to control XBMC with my remote and IR Receiver, but I'm wanting it to do one extra thing. I have VNC set up on the DVR, but because the machine is always running XBMC, it becomes a bit of a pain to VNC in and have to jump through hoops to close XBMC (which doesn't render properly over VNC) and get to what it is I need to do.

So, I was wondering if it was possible to have EventGhost automatically close XBMC when I establish a VNC connection, and relaunch it when I disconnect. I assume it'd be rather hard to integrate EventGhost with RealVNC, so I assume I'd be looking for a way to make a active connection on a certain port (The VNC port) kill XBMC, and for it to relaunch when there is no more activity on that port.

Is there a way for me to do this? Am I correct in assuming it'd have to watch for a network event rather than a RealVNC event?
