not a socket error on startup (ZoomPlayer, CommandFusion)
not a socket error on startup (ZoomPlayer, CommandFusion)
What causes this error? I periodically get it in several plugins.
Re: not a socket error on startup (ZoomPlayer, CommandFusion)
I have no idea, but if I see something like this, I use notepad++'s ability to search for a string recursively in the files of a directory. You can wildcard *.py files only, and it is pretty quick. Then you can tell yourself where the error is coming from. One advantage of using python over compiled code....

This happens when I close/reopen Eventghost. Apparently it takes awhile for the socket to be released.
Any way to expidite the socket release on eventghost exit?
