Changing color of OSD skin?

Post by Luca Brasi »

Hey guys,

is there any way to change the color of the osd skin? I would like to have it matched with my mediaportal skin.

Thanks
Luca

Sure. Just edit the files in EventGhost\plugins\EventGhost\OsdSkins\*.

It works by slicing the Default.png image according to the instructions in Default.py. It separates the corners, borders and center part and then scales them so that the text fits in the center. It will be easiest to edit if you keep the dimensions the same then you only have to edit the Default.png file.

The skin is called Default.* because it's made for the possibility of having multiple skins. However there is no skin selector in the ShowOSD action so you can just save your new skin on top of the old one. (make a backup first...)

I'm working on a new osd plugin which will have much more configurable stuff, such as skins. (if you can call it working at this pace.. )
