EventGhost Nokia 5800 - AVRCP - SmartTouch

Post by HappyHallsy »

Hi everyone...

I've recently come across the application SmartTouch for Symbian Nokia Phones (5800 & N97)(tested and working)... And was wondering if there was any way to log the events from this application. Written in python and using the widcomm stack im pretty sure.

As far as i know so far in terms of using the device in this nature it's used in AVRCP Profile.
(Audio Visual Remote Control Profile).

When i go into the device manager the device is also logged as USB Input device and has many other HID Profiles all coming contained under the main device profile Of Bluetooth Remote Control.

My question to you guys is has anyone ever gotten this to work or see any viable way of making this work...

Im using EventGhost 3.7
Windows 7

and have the remote http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=XC4889
working on another machine same OS settings ect...

As this is currently a media pc the goal is to eventually be able to remotely start media player / centre via eventghost mapping the bluetooth or internal commands.

Also if anyone is interested in the application itself... they are located for free at
