I use Windows Media Center for viewing TV and have it setup with a Harmony One remote. Everything works great accept for two items that I was hoping EventGhost might be able to perform.
I d/l installed it and started digging in, but after realizing that this is a bit of an involved program to learn, I am hoping that someone might tell me if this is even possible and practical.
As stated, my current system works good and I don't want to change anything there. Can EventGhost add these two functions:
Create a action on my Harmony One remote that will start a Media Center/Media Player playlist. I know that I can run the playlist file itself and it starts playing that list in media player. So all I would have to do it run that path/playlist_file - can this be done? If so, any pointers?
Secondly, when the PC is sleeping, we have to move the mouse to wake it. i would love to send a signal along with the "Watch TV" signals to wake to PC. Possible?
Many, many thanks for any help with this!

Ability to start a playlist and wake a PC?
Re: Ability to start a playlist and wake a PC?
You can run any program/file from EventGhost. Just add a macro/action System\Start Application.setfree wrote:Create a action on my Harmony One remote that will start a Media Center/Media Player playlist. I think this depends on the IR-receiver if this is supported and not EventGhost. but I have no experience with this so I might be wrong.Secondly, when the PC is sleeping, we have to move the mouse to wake it. i would love to send a signal along with the "Watch TV" signals to wake to PC. Possible?
