Event Ghost and Powerstrip hot keys

Post by Mangoat »

Hi folks,

I use a Gyration media remote with my HTPC and discovered Event Ghost a few months back. I don;t use it for that many functions, to have quite a number of mappable buttons free on my remote.

I decided that I'd use 3 of them to launch my Powerstrip profiles as per the set up in the hotkey manager. I have one for 1080p/24, 1080p/25 & 1080p/60, all are launched with a combo of Ctrl+Alt+I, O, or P.

Hitting these commands on the keyboard works fine, but Event Ghost does nothing. I have an emulate keystrokes macro set up, amd mapped to HID button 91. The emulate keystroke reads {Ctrl+Alt+I} and despite the fact the command shows on the log on the left, no refresh rate changes happen.

This is with the latest Powerstrip and EventGhost 0.3.7.r1462. Any ideas?

Thanks.

use the command line options instead.
Keyboard emulation should always be the last resort.
