This may sound weard but all of a sudden Eventghost stops my Mediaportal and starts Power DVD or lower the volume or some other event I have programmed.
I use an ATI remote wonder. New battery didn't solve this problem.
I have taken the batterys out from the remote and still Eventghost jumps to different events now and then.
Because this is a Media Portal HTPC I seldom install anything. I just upgrade windows which is XP SP3 and also update the Avast antivirus software. Eventually this started to happend after I installed the online movie software Voddler. I have uninstalled Voddler to no avail so that doesn't seem to be the problem.
I tried with an update for eventghost, the latest one, version 0.3.7.r1462. The old one was from july 2009. Same problem.
It seems to get worse and worse. Now It's only a minute or two between different events happening which I havent told eventghost with my remote to do. The log only says the events is called.
Anyone else seen this phenomenon?

Is this a RF remote? RF interference????
I guess they are paired but what about "friends next door"?
I read the new model type II has 60 foot range so if more people have it in your area....

Walter, thanks for the tip.
You may have right but I only have one neighbour in the range 60foot (18 meters). It's the same thing late at nights when I know he is sleeping so.. Anyway, I will ask him about it though.
