I'm not sure if this is possible but it would be nice to have a remote POWER-ON feature in EventGhost. My problem is that my HTPC is behind a rack that I cannot get to so I end up removing panels and wires just to get to the Power Button the the PC.
Is there a way that EventGhost can Remotely Power On your PC? maybe some other 3rd party software?

Correct me if i am wrong but doesn't wake on lan only work from a internet\LAN enabled PC? I guess there's no way of telling the remote to use wake on lan since eventghost is not running when the PC is shut off.

There are some receivers like the USB-UIRT which can wake up a PC from stand by.
The IR trans goes even step beyond as it can literally use the power button circuit to power on a pc from every state (as long the PSU is not switched off)

I want to wake up my pc from hibernation (S4) and the only thing i found is the "Wake up from Lan" but i'm not interested by this function.
My hardware is a Hauppauge Nova-T USB stick with the remote and ir sensor included in the stick, works great so far but no luck with wakeking up my pc :/

Your motherboard must also support it. There's are usb power after shutdown and wakeup related things in the BIOS if it does.
I would go with wake on lan, it's the oldest and most widely supported way of turning pc's on remotely. The obvious downside is that you need some other hardware to be powered up to send the wake on lan command over the network.
Ofcourse you could go the old fashioned way and simply put the power button at the end of a long(er) cable and position it somewhere where its not hidden behind panels and such..

Well when i go in the bios i got several options under the Power management tab , i will list them here:
ACPI Suspend time: S1 (Pos) S3 (Str)
Power on by Pci card: disabled/enabled
S3 Freeze Lock HDD: disabled/enabled
AC back function: soft off / full-on / memory
wake on lan: disabled/enabled
It seems to me the max i can go is S3 state with this mobo a.k.a. Standby Mode" according to this page
