Hey all, first off I've gotta say how nice a piece of software this is. Well happy being able to switch my desktop from my monitor to my television with one button.
I do however have one problem, it's all working perfect until I use a USB extender cable. EventGhost stops registering button presses but the remote is definitely still working with its own default buttons (so the cable is fine).
Is there a way to solve this? Hopefully a magical plugin? Why would the extender cable break it?
I'm using a Acowin AURC-001 remote (cheapo I know but it nearly works perfect) which works with Generic HID.

Your problem is the extender, not EG. The device is either messing up the signal, or lowering the strength so that the PC cannot read it properly or entirely.

The extender seems to work fine with Media Centre and all the other in built default buttons so I don't think it's the extender.
Can anyone else confirm that they use an extender for the USB IR receiver and that EG can pick up the buttons through it?
