Hi,
I am really liking EG, but for some reason my remote won't work after I reboot my machine, i.e. no button presses register in EG. No errors appear in the EG log either. It will however work if a) I press a button on the remote and b) then restart EG. If I just try to automatically restart EG with a .bat file upon a re-boot, without pressing any remote buttons, the remote still won't work until I press a button, then restart EG.
I am running the latest EG, 0.3.7.r1462, with Vista 64 bit Home Premium SP2. I am using the standard eHome driver.
Any ideas on what could be going on?
Any way to simulate a remote control button press after booting up as a workaround to this issue?

Not sure if this will help or not, but did you know there was a checkbox under File->Options->Autostart Eventghost on System Startup? Maybe using that instead of a .bat file would help? I've never had this issue, BTW. Could be a timing issue of when EventGhost starts vs. when other services start.

I have also tried delaying it usign the .bat but its always the same issue. I have to start it up, hit a button, and then restart.
I've decided to map a button on my wireless keyboard to auto restart EG so at least it will be a bit easier without having to use a mouse.
Would still be nice though to figure out the reall issue.
