I've spent some time tring to work out how to use this program. I have a generic HID remote and have successfully installed the plug in- and the remote registers button presses in the log file. But I don't understand how to log macros to a button press. Just looking for a pointer to get started= eg
I have a key that sends CTRL+ALT+A and I'd like to assign this to open a program. But I can't work out how to do it
I'm using Mediaportal so I'm going to use this to configure some special keys. The generic keys work fine
Thanks
Tony

Re: Total Newbie- event ghost and HID device
I have read the short manual- and most of the other documentation. I've made a macro that works too. What I'm obviously missing is how to assign that macro to the button.
But now you've pointed me again to that section I think I get it. However not all the buttons on the remote register on Event Ghost. Not sure how I get around that.
EDIT: had to enable keyboard plugin as well. Now I understand how this thing works
