How do I get my MCE remote to power on & off TV

Post by bpidskalny »

Hello,

I'm new to EventGhost and i'm try to get my MCE remote to power on & off TV when I press the power button. So far i've added the MCE remote plugin. Next I added an event with the MCE remote to tell it to transmit an IR. When I hit learn IR it does nothing and freezes for about a minute then just exits out of the macro and leaves an unnamed marco in the conf tree? when i'm not building the macro I can see the ir comands showing up in the log window for both the MCE remote and my tv remote. I'm not sure where to go from hear to try get the program to learn the IR code for the TV to power on and off. I'm running windows 7. Please help.

Thanks
Ben

Yeah the thing is that the plugin of Mce Remote doesnt support Ir transmiting yet , so i THINK that's why it doesn't work
