Eventghost constantly crashing without errors

Hello,

i am running EG on a Windows Home Server. Everything seemd quite ok, and EG is installed as a service and everything seemd to be working as it sould.

recently i was starting to play around with the suntracker plugin and since i had (have) problems trying to figure out how its is supposed to work, i left EG open for extended periods. There i found out that EG is after some random amount of time EG simply closes without any error. the window is just gone and the task bar icon disappears as soon as the mousepointer touches it.

After some research i found that the same behavior is true no matter if i install any plugins or not or if am running EG as a service or as a "normal" program. Also it does not matter if i access the server directly and let the program open or if i access it via remote desktop.

As a test i have also installed EG on a Win7 Machine, here it behaves the same.

Both the Home Server and the Win7 Laptop are fully patched with the latest aviable patches. and i am running EG 0.3.7r1462

Hi,
I am also experiencing this issue, but only in the last 2 days since i reinstalled Windows 7 home premium).

I notice that when EG starts there are 2 EventGhost.exe processes. Is this normal? One seems to use no CPU and abotu 5mb memory and the 2nd uses a little cpu initially before settling down to 0 and about 25mb of memory.

Is this normal?

Try start EventGhost with command line option "-debug" (without quotes of course).
Then put generated Log.txt here (should be found in %appdata%\EventGhost\) .
