XBMC and MCE Remote Mapping

Post by Bart TV »

My Setup & Configuration: XBMC 9.11, MS MCE 1039 RC6 and 1.0A IR Reciever, XP Pro SP3, EventGhost 0.3.7.r1462 - 2133

My Problem: When I enabled the plugin for XBMC, it asked me if I wanted to import the actions into my tree, and I said yes, then selected the root level, and hit OK...

There are certain buttons which do not work on my remote from within XBMC. For example, I want the "info" button on my remote to simulate the "i" key being pressed (which brings up media information). My "back" button also is currently doing nothing.

How can I resolve this?

Have you read the Short Manual? especially the last section Assigning Events to Macros.
