since I'm not sure if this topic is more of a general one or closely connected to the PS-3-Remote-Plugin, I start this topic in the general forum. If this is the worng way, have mercy on me
OS is Windows XP SP3.
I have running a "Mini Bluetooth USB-Adapter Class2 EDR V2.0" (http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00393DJBC) BT-dongle with standard windows BT-drivers and a "PlayStation 3 PS3 Remote Control Black" (http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B000MWQTLU) remote control.
I have paired the devices successfully much like described here (http://www.eventghost.org/wiki/PS3%20Re ... indows%207) though this is for Vista. Everything looks fine, I have a device shwoing up as HID Gamecontroller.
Even though I have loaded the "Playstation 3 Bluetooth Remote", I cannot see any activity in the log when pressing buttons on my remote.
(Should I see events even without loading the Plugin?)
To make sure that signals come in from my remote, I installed SniffUSB and verified that for the device described as "Generic Bluetooth Radio", traffic/activity occurs as soon as I press one of the remote's buttons.
So as far as I see it, I checked everything I could and things should work.
Is there anyone who can point me to further starting-point for debugging?
