Hi,
I am looking to buy a relatively cheap remote to use with EG. I know MCE remotes are supported but I've come across cases of remotes that claim to be MCE and show up as keyboards in the PC with no way to change their behavior and no driver etc etc (no "disble HID" like a true MCE remote etc).
I was wondering if anyone has any data on this remote by MediaGate (amazon link below) or can recommend a similar remote that would easily work with EG without issues.

MediaGate Vista Certified Remote. Is it supported?

That looks exactly like the one I just got working in XP (SP3). I bought mine from NewEgg. The packaging even looks the same. The one I got is an RC 6 remote and workeds great.
I used the EG MCE Plugin and didn't even need to use the "Disable HID service for this remote" checkbox.
