I am trying to use the Tivo SLide remote on my PC with EventGhost. With the keyboard plugin, you get the qwerty keyboard and number pad showing up as event in Eventghost but you don't get to see the remote type buttons (forward, reverse, play, stop, select, etc)
Is there a way to intercept those key presses so I can remate them as needed?
PS Figured it out. Just used the generic HID. FOr some reason, the TIVO Slide remote shows up 4 or 5 times in the list of HID devices. Barring complications, I should be able to get this mucho wonderful remote to work with my system. Spouse loves it as I can move the Logitech diNovo keyboard ( a great HTPC keyboard I must say) out of the livingroom because it clashes with the decor <grin>.
The only think I lose for controling the PC is the mouse.
