Re: XBMCRepeat XBMC plugin based on the official plugin
Hi, nice work with the plugin.
Now, why does XBMCrepeater select change the aspect ratio of videos? I mapped it to my select button on your plugin and now when playing videos it changes aspect ratio. Is that coded on keymap.xml?

Yup, any buttons you use from the XBMCRepeat\Buttons folder are defined in the keymap.xml files. Now, why does XBMCrepeater select change the aspect ratio of videos? I mapped it to my select button on your plugin and now when playing videos it changes aspect ratio. Is that coded on keymap.xml?

Re: XBMCRepeat XBMC plugin based on the official plugin
All those orange cogs are macros, so you just need to drag n drop a remote event from the log to the macro you want it to use.jesterod wrote:so i need to make a macro?
Please read tho whole Short manual I linked to here
Edit:
Different remotes create different events so it's not possible to have it work without assigning the events first.wait nvm i need to make events ok i thought that was already done i just want this to be just like it was on the xbox

Re: XBMCRepeat XBMC plugin based on the official plugin
If you assign them as such. You HAVE to assign the remote events (button presses) to actions (macros).jesterod wrote:yea i figured it out every thing after 9 my remote does not have im useing the xbox dvd kit (the old first gen xbox)

Re: XBMCRepeat XBMC plugin based on the official plugin
yea i have but i want the 369 to be the numbers outside of the video like in typing but vol at any other time
Re: XBMCRepeat XBMC plugin based on the official plugin
Doesn't look like it, the remote buttons are defined in (XBMC dir)\system\keymaps\remote.xml.jesterod wrote:yea i figured it out every thing after 9 my remote does not have im useing the xbox dvd kit (the old first gen xbox)

I'll make a remote.xml with volume on 3,6,9. As soon as I have finished my chicken.

jesterod, keymaps in XBMC are the the way to have the same button do different action based on the XBMC screen you are in. You should be able to find more information about them in the XBMC wiki. You can create custom ones and place them in your userdata\keymaps folder. The location of your userdata folder depends if you are running in portable (-p switch) mode or not. If you edit the keymap in (XBMC dir)\system\keymaps\remote.xml chances are it will get replaced when updating XBMC.
Re: XBMCRepeat XBMC plugin based on the official plugin
