I use EventGhost for remote controlling my HTPC setups around the house. I like using the FireFly remote (by snapstream) which works off the X10: SnapStream FireFly plugin. My issue is I just bought a new FireFly remote off of eBay for a friend, but it did not come with a USB Transceiver. I looked online and bought an X10 USB Transceiver from HomeAutomation thinking it would work just fine (since its X10 and all). I am having problems getting the ordered USB Transceiver to work. Device manager reports it as an "X10 USB Firecracker Interface", and the sticker under the device says its model: CM19A.
Just looking to get this FireFly remote working with EventGhost via the new CM19A USB Wireless Transceiver. Anyone had any luck with this before? Or has anyone found a place to purchase a "replacement" USB Wireless Transceiver for a FireFly remote?
Any help is appreciated.

Well, that makes two of us that probably had the same idea. I can't get it working, though a Google search showed someone who supposedly got this combination working with Girder.
The LED on the CM19A only flashes once, briefly, for me on startup, and is not lit all the time the way the Firefly receiver is. Big clue that this is different hardware. I've tried X10 and Snapstream drivers to no avail. When I run the Firefly setup wizard, it sees the receiver but I can't proceed - when it asks for the OK button from the FF it does not recognize the key press.
Maybe a loss of $11, such is life. I'll post here if I have any luck with it, I've only tinkered for a few minutes at this point.
Edit: there is mention of a CM15/CM19 plugin for EG but it seems the developer stopped work on it and it looks like it never worked with the CM19A.
