newbie setup help
Ok a quick search didn't find anything. Here is what I am looking for. When using Meedio I switch to SageTV for tv viewing and playback. I do this with a sendmessage utility which brings SageTV to the front and puts me at the right menu. This is merely a focus change and does not cause an action in EventGhost. This is done thru a menu item in Meedio and not a button on the remote. How can I trigger EventGhost to switch to my SageTV exclusive? Can I send EventGhost a message to switch?
After some more playing around it seems EvenGhost only sees a program as 'activated' if it is clicked on by the mouse. A mere focus change to any program either by sendmessage or alt+tab does nothing. Any chance of someone writing a true 'window focus' plugin?

need plugin: Task Create/Switch Events
Ok just add the plugin: Task Create/Switch Events. I have not used your particular set up but whenever I I alt-tab to another app it lists a task.activated or a task.destroyed event. I used this to launch emulators using a free htpc app called GBPVR. I have not used your particular apps but the concept should be the same. In my wiki contribution Cotrolling Your Living room I created an event to launch the program under switch to mode and I enabled the exclusive by using the task.activated event.
