I just started using the Eventghost Application and in the need of some help to get startet.
What I want:
Use the Pronto TSU 9600 to control and launch Applications like Itunes and XBMC.
Use the Pronto to wake the computer up from a Sleepstate 3.
Make my own shortcuts/buttons on the pronto to start a Macro i created on the computer.
The Issues I have at the moment:
Which driver wil work with the pronto. I dont know what the IR/transeiver is called, but it works with a standard Microsoft MCE Remote, but not when i'm using the Pronto.
How can I make a Macro, there have a trigger, and when I'm pussing the trigger then the application will start up and how can I get the Pronto to learn the Hex Code for that.
In general how can I get the Pronto to work with Eventghost.

I am new with EG, but i know the Prontos.
First, the Pronto is a universal remote, which can emulate a wide range of commands.
But you have to load the specific ir-codes first.
You say you have a MCE remote ? In this case you can load a setup with MCE remote commands.

Here you find a ready to use mce setup for your pronto.
The longer way is to use the learn function of the pronto. But then you have to learn every
button of the mce remote you want to use.
If you have done this and the pronto can control the system as good as the mce remote,
you can create macros in EG which react to specific codes.
The advantage with the pronto is, you can load (or learn) new ir commands (e.g. from another remote)
and use these commands to trigger the EG Macros without interfering the mce commandset.
