Noob Alert , Trying make Mouse Control Jriver

Hi there,

I'm trying to assign my mouse forward and backward buttons to to changes tracks in Jriver 15

Back is Mouse.XButton1

Forward is Mouse.XButton2

MC15.exe /Command Next
MC15.exe /Command Previous

Could anyone help me out with this?

There are forward/back actions in the JRMC plugin. Have you tried that? If the actions work, you can assign your mouse events to the actions....

Ok Added the plugin but it says "jriver is not running"

Can you run the findwindow action when JRMC 15 is open, drag the bullseye to the JRMC window, and post a screenshot?

Ok I think I Fixed it, it didnt like that I had jriver minimized to the taskbar when I was adding the plugin.

Something is wrong with your EG instance. It should look like the image on the home page, with the tree on the right, not just the log (on the left in the homepage pic). See if you can get the tree pane back - if so, that is where you add macros to control additional things.

Ok got it working, What can I remove out of that list, Kinda clean up all the unnecessary stuff?

Update: It works fine in Jriver, but now doesnt work anywhere else, Can't go forward and back in Windows Explorer or firefox or anywhere else

HALP!

It's mapped those buttons system wide as long as jriver is running , Anyway to make it work only while using Jriver?

I don't think you want the enable exclusive in your autostart folder

Disabled and Deleted anything that said exculsive and did not help ,those buttons are completely taken over by Eventghost.

Any ideas?

Not sure I follow. Did the buttons do anything before you installed EG? What happens if you exit EG?
