Hi I have tried this in the XBMC forum with no luck so I'm hoping someone might know here. I have configured my Logitech UltraX Media Remote to control XBMC with the use of EventGhost. I have run into the strangest problem though! Everything works fine until I play a movie, then I lose control with the remote, and I can only use the keyboard or mouse! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am using:
- EventGhost version: 0.3.7.r1462
- xbmc-r35068-Dharma_beta4 (i was previously using an earlier build then upgraded to this to see if it would fix the problem but it was the same)
- Windows 7 Ultimate x64
- 4GB RAM
- NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT with Driver Version: 258.96
- Realtek High Definition Audio Driver Version: 6.0.1.5936
- Logitech UltraX Media Remote with EventGhost specific driver
- I have tried different skins and it doesn't change.

Loss of control in XBMC
Re: Loss of control in XBMC
I'm assuming you are using the default XBMC plugin.
Then it looks like you didn't assign any actions that work when playing a video, so you need to assign play, pause, Fastforward, rewind, stop and any other actions you want to use. the arrowkeys and select don't work in fullscreen video.
If you used other actions not show in the video I might not know why it don't work for you.
I think using my XBMCRepeat plugin you can configure your remote the way you want. Provided you use the actions in the Remote folder.

Re: Loss of control in XBMC
You are exactly right!
Thank you! I was just because I didn't assign the other actions. I just assumes they would have been the same as the menu navigation. Thanks heaps!
