event ghost and pronto tsu9400

hi,
i have a basic question. well, not basic for me since i cant figure out how to make event ghost work lol
i have a tsu9400. i cant for the life of me get the wifi to work :/
i have a linksys wirless router and my laptop running windows 7
i have tried everthing inclusive of downloading like a mad woman every script and software to figure it out, been on this website searching and also googled it.
i bought the onepad for the windows media center and player (cant get it to work)
i downloaded the MCE controller, weather.com, event ghost and also the itunes for pronto demo(cant get it to work)

i have NO clue what i doing wrong
i opened the ports on all on my mcafee (do i have to open the ports on the router too?)
helpppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp.....................
any help would be appreciated

Hey, I had this network problem with a pronto and a linksys, I updated the firmware on the router and BANG, connected.

thanks. but the pronto wifi wasnt working i actually had to get another pronto. ok now that i have wifi working and installed the xcf. file on to my pronto, how do i set up the event ghost to work on my pronto to use itune,windows media player and vlc media player. i need step by step instructions as i am a novice at event ghost.
any help would be appreciated.
