What is the best overall RF/USB/Eventghost friendly remote?

Post by stisev »

After upgrading to Windows 7 64-bit, I am very pessimistic getting my current Firefly to work with Eventghost. Are there any alternatives that I could buy that just WORK with Eventghost and don't have such crappy drivers?

I found The Windows 7 Vista XP Media Center MCE PC Remote Controlremote on Amazon, but it is only IR.

Requirements:
1) MUST work with Windows 7 64-bit
2) Must have RF
3) Relatively inexpensive (but please post any remotes in any price range and let me decide]

I found out that MCE rermote only sends keyboard commands (NOT remote commands) so it won't work with EG as well. :(

I'm going to try very very hard to get my Snapstream Firefly RF (X10 based) remote working. This is the only, yet cheapest for me solution there is
