Windows 7 Mixer Per-Application Volume

Hi to all.

Sorry for my bag english, I will try to do my best.

I use Windows 7 Media Center right now. I use the remote of the 2.1 speackers kit, the Z Cinema from Logitech. The remote working good cause she's "WMC ready". I use another 5.1 system when I look my movies on Media Center.

But the remote work again, just the volume button doesn't work, and that's good for me.

I want to control the volume of Media Center with this remote, but only the volume of this app, not the whole system volume... I found a little app that do that job, she's called "power mixer" but it's not free...

So, I want to know of it's possible, with Eventghost, to send a command to the Windows 7 mixer, only to the Media Center Application volume ? Power Mixer do that job with hotkeys, it's possible to control the volume for just one app you want...

Well, I don't know if i'm good. I've tried the Find Window, bring to front commands but the mixer get focus and it's not that I want. I just want to send the command set volume down or up only for the media center application.

I don't want to control the main volume cause when I doing that, the volume popup come on Media Center and it's annoying.

So I hope you can help me.

Just to tell that I'm also intererrested by controling volume per application. I will look for some information...

I use a main/system volume control and then for most of my media applications I use keyboard shortcuts (per each application) Boxee for example is - + key.

Look for each applications volume short keys and set them to a different remote button. I use X10's channel up/down buttons for all my media app volume controls and the X10's Volume up/down buttons for system wide volume control.
